BEDAZZLED (2000)

'Tis one thing to be tempted,
another thing to fall.

                               -Shakespeare

In BEDAZZLED, a reimagining of the 1967 Peter Cook-Dudley Moore Faustian comedy, BRENDAN played
ELLIOT RICHARDS

FRANCES O'CONNOR as ALLISON GARDNER

ELLIOT'S Co-workers and wish collaborators, (but not his friends).
Orlando Jones, Miriam Shor, Paul Adelstein, Toby Huss.

Enter THE DEVIL, in the form of a sexy brunette played with obvious relish by ELIZABETH HURLEY

who offers Elliot 7 WISHES in exchange for his soul !!!👿

Unfortunately, Elliot's wishes are not specific in their details and THE DEVIL takes great delight in putting him in comedically embarrassing and sometimes dangerous situations, via his various personas.

#1 "A Big Mac and a Coke".
(The only one she gets right. Except for the 🍟)

# 2  "I want to be RICH  !!!" (ieA Columbian drug lord with an unfaithful wife.)

#3 "The most sensitive man in the world" (emotionally sensitive, that is.)

#4 "An intelligent, witty, and well-endowed writer".

# 5 A professional basketball player (whose regular scoring average per game, is higher than his I.Q.).

# 6 The President of the United States.

One character wound up on the cutting room floor.

# 7 The Rock Star
(Yeah, probably a good decision).

Elliot's amazing array of personae were designed and created by respected Make-up Artist Ben Nye,Jr. who was Brendan's make-up artist on a total of fourteen films.

Matthew Mungle (special prosthetics make-up)

Robert Hallowell II (1960-2015)
Hair design/personal stylist
Robert was Brendan's hair designer and stylist on eight films.

and Beatrice de Alba
