On October 18, 1997, Brendan hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time.
The musical guest was Bjork.
In his opening monologue, Brendan read a list of the things he likes. This one was especially amusing>>>>>

Sketches include a Xena:Warrior Princess spoof with both Brendan and regular cast member Molly Shannon in Xena costumes.
A "stoner" skit titled "Issues" with cast member Jim Breuer
And "Buddy Songs" with Will Ferrell.
This episode featured the first appearance of Chris Kattan's 'Mango" character.
On February 13, 1999 Brendan hosted for a second time.
This time, the musical guest was Busta Rhymes & The Roots.
Skits on the episode included Brendan as a first time male escort with client Carrie Donovan (Ana Gasteyer).
and Charlie Brown (with Ana Gasteyer as Lucy)
And as a personal trainer to a very odd couple, the Zimmermans.(Chris Kattan and Cheri Oteri)
There was also a spoof of the Food Network series "Two Fat Ladies" with Darrell Hammond as Clarissa Dickson-Wright and Brendan as Jennifer Paterson.
On October 7, 2000 Brendan made a cameo appearance with his Monkeybone co-star Chris Kattan, spoofing the Olympic profile videos.
