DUDLEY DO-RIGHT (1999)

Brendan plays Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer Dudley Do-Right in this live action adaptation of JAY WARD's animated segment that was part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle show between 1961 and 1970.
Snidely Whiplash, Dudley, Nell Fenwick, and Horse.
voiced by Hans Conried, Bill Scott, and June Foray.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER is Dudley's girlfriend, NELL FENWICK. The "apple of  his eye".

ALFRED MOLINA is Dudley's nemesis, SNIDELY WHIPLASH

Dudley and his horse..um........Horse (portrayed by McFly).
Although Brendan had learned to ride as a child, and rode on vacations in Montana, he trained daily, honing his equestrian skills in preparation for the film's riding scenes. This would come in handy for his future role as Texas Ranger Billy Anderson in Texas Rising (2015).

ERIC IDLE is Prospector KIM DARLING
(And the origin of the plaid flannel shirt fetish.)

ALEX ROCCO is the CHIEF of the Kumquat Tribe

I do not have anything to say about this.🤭

Brendan with Dyllan Christopher who plays Young Dudley

Brendan with Dyllan Christopher, Jeremy Bergman (Young Snidely) and Ashley Yarman (Young Nell).

The movie was written and directed by Hugh Wilson. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia and Santa Clarita, California.

Point of interest: In the 19th c. Brendan's great grandfather was a Northwest County Policeman which is how they were known before being renamed The Royal Canadian Mounted Police aka The Mounties.

Well, four out of five isn't bad.

                                                                          Awww.

Brendan being inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2006.

                                                 DUDLEY DO-RIGHT'S RIPSAW FALLS

In 1999 a flume log ride based on the animated characters opened at the Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando, Florida. The ride aboard cartoon logs ends with a 75 foot drop.
