CRASH (2004)

"In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something."

Brendan played District Attorney Rick Cabot
in the 2004 Academy Award winner for Best Picture.
Inspired by a real life incident, the film looks at racism from both sides. "A raw and unsettling morality piece on modern angst and urban disconnect, Crash examines the dangers of bigotry and xenophobia in the lives of interconnected Angelenos." Roger Ebert called it "a movie of intense fascination".

The film was directed by Paul Haggis from a screenplay by Haggis and Robert Moresco (which also won an Academy award and a Bafta Award). The Screen Actors Guild Award winning cast included Matt Dillon, Sandra Bullock,

Terrence Howard, Don Cheadle, Jennifer Esposito, Larenz Tate, Thandie Newton, and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges.
